Lake of the Arbuckles

A clear-water lake for fishing, boating, swimming, camping and cabin weekends inside
Chickasaw National Recreation Area.

Overview

Lake of the Arbuckles is the main lake destination in the region and one of the strongest choices for a multi-day outdoor trip. Visitors come for bass and crappie fishing, motorboating, paddling, swimming, lakefront camping and nearby cabin stays.

If your trip is centered around the water, this is the easiest place to build around. Buckhorn and The Point are especially useful because camping, swimming, fishing and boat access are all concentrated in the same general areas.
